Flower Ballerinas Crochet Pattern Collection — 4 Flower Dolls in One PDF
About this pattern

Four little flower dolls in ruffled pink tutus, each with a different bloom for a head. A sunshine with pointed rays, a white daisy, a lavender flower with wide round petals, and a brown-centred sunflower. They sit on a shelf edge with their legs dangling, which is exactly what they're built to do.
What you get
- 19-page PDF, instant download after purchase
- US crochet terms, round by round with stitch counts in brackets
- Photographs of all four finished dolls plus the yarn shades used
- One fully written base doll, then three bonus variations — in the pattern text they're named Solange (sunshine), Meg (daisy), Rose (lavender) and Gi (sunflower)
How it's built
One body, four flowers. The main doll is written out in full — legs, body, head, skirt and arms — and the other three reuse that same body with different colours and a different flower worked onto the head. So you learn the construction once and get four dolls out of it.
The clever part is the petals. Several head rounds are worked in back loops only, which leaves rows of free front loops behind. The petals and rays are then crocheted directly into those leftover loops — worked flat for two rows, then joined into the round and shaped — so they grow out of the head itself rather than being made separately and sewn on. The sunflower goes further and uses two separate rounds of leftover loops for two overlapping rows of petals, with a slip-stitch centre worked into the loops that remain.
The head attaches with an opening, not a seam: round 15 chains over six skipped stitches to leave a neat hole that fits down onto the neck and is sewn firmly in place. The pattern warns to keep that opening centred between the eyes or the doll ends up looking sideways.
Legs and shoes are worked in one piece with a back-loop colour change at the ankle, the pink yarn left on hold and picked up again afterwards to finish the shoe. Legs join into the body at round 7, so there's no leg-sewing at all. The skirt is worked back down into the free loops of a body round for a proper ruffled tutu.
Skills & materials
- Basic to intermediate. You need magic ring, invisible/inverted magic ring, sc, inc, dec, BLO/FLO, working flat and in the round, and joining pieces as you go. The pattern says plainly it doesn't teach the basics
- Slim amigurumi cotton — the sample uses Bubblegum 3131, Quartz 3077, Cream 1112 and Magnolia 1205, plus brown and green for the sunflower
- 2.0–2.2 mm hook for slim amigurumi yarn
- 10 mm safety eyes with locking backs, hypoallergenic fibrefill, black thread for embroidery
- Liquid silicone glue (optional, for the cheeks)
Colours are the designer's — swap freely and the same four dolls work in any palette you like.
