Free Mini Pumpkin Crochet Pattern — Beginner Autumn Decor
About this pattern
A free mini pumpkin pattern — and the fastest autumn make in the shop. A ribbed little pumpkin with a brown stem and a twine bow, worked flat as a simple rectangle and then gathered into shape. Make one in an evening, or a whole bowl of them in three shades.
What you get
- 6-page PDF, completely free — instant download, no code needed
- US crochet terms, with every row and round written out
- Step photos for the side seam, the gathering, the shaping passes and the stem
How it's made
The body is a ch-19 rectangle worked back and forth in back loops only — 27 rows of 2 sc, 14 hdc, 2 sc. That's the whole trick: back-loop rows give you the ribs. You join the first and last rows into a tube, gather both ends, stuff it loosely, and then pull five strands of yarn up through the middle with a long needle to press in the pumpkin's segments. The stem is a tiny 7-round piece sewn on top, finished with a twine bow.
Skills & materials
- Great for beginners. Only ch, sc, hdc, sl st and a magic ring for the stem — no shaping, no counting increases
- 2.5 mm hook and cotton-blend yarn (YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Yarn21 Jeans or similar) in any autumn shades
- Stuffing, one long needle and one short needle, and twine for the bow
Crochet loosely and don't overstuff — the pumpkin should stay soft and plump.

How the download works
Your PDF link arrives by email as soon as your payment goes through, and it's also on your order confirmation page. Save the file somewhere safe, it's yours to keep.
Refunds on digital items
Because a pattern can't be handed back once it's downloaded, digital orders aren't refundable. If something is wrong with the file or a round doesn't add up, email us and we'll sort it out.
